Hello and goodbye to court & spark team members

January 2012 sees us welcome some new faces to the court & spark team as well as saying a sad goodbye to Andrea Sheerman who has been a valued part of the team for over three years.

Pauline Wood comments: “Claire & I want to thank Andrea for her commitment to court & spark over the last few years and the hard work she has put in to finding great candidates in response to the client assignments she has handled. She will continue to handle retail recruitment assignments so we look forward to staying in touch with Andrea and working on collaborative client projects in the future.”

At the same time as Andrea moves on, court & spark welcomes Fiona Davidson who joins the team to head up court & spark’s newly created Main Board Practice area, together with handling HR Practice assignments. Fiona has a wealth of experience handling senior executive search within the retail sector and across a variety of other industries including consumer goods, healthcare, finance and professional services. Her experience working across a variety of sectors is particularly valuable for court & spark’s clients who wish to access experienced business operators from outside the retail environment in order to ensure their corporate boards benefit from a broad range of business experience and background.

And finally we are also delighted to annouce a further new recruit to the court & spark extended team as we say hello to Claire Beasley’s new baby boy, Miles Louis Beasley, born on Saturday 7th January 2012. Claire has already been in touch to report that Miles is being a superstar baby, and also to thank many contacts who have already been in touch with well wishes. Claire plans to take a short period of maternity leave now and hands over to Pauline who will continue to handle Claire’s usual assignments and responsibilities.
